I don’t rate Jaylen Brown that highly as a player and would take Tatum 10/10 times on my team, but the way some Celtics fans talk about Jaylen rubs me the wrong way so I have no choice but to be on his side in this lamb chops & gravy

My girl getting so much hate for a cute former teammates shoutouts and meanwhile this is her giving her flowers unprompted “obviously, watching uconn…KML…Katie Lou…there are so many.” 🤏🏽

People acting like Tatum taking the (contrived) moral high ground is great and Brown needs to stop it but that’s just soft. Tatum needs to fire back. Don’t be a pussy, push the rivalry as far as you can, it’ll make the games WAY more fun.

For the future of CA, both Raman and Wiener need to win. Nearly everything else about CA Dem vs Dem elections is irrelevant compared to the horrific NIMBYism.

The hilarious part is JB might have legit reasons to not like JT, based on how he moves behind the scenes. But JB gets hate for not being fake about it publicly 😭. That dynamic has to be annoying if you know the truth.

A lot of you too old to be acting like this. Joined Twitter in 2011 and made about some 20yos saying their recent all American is the best shooter to them. Don’t understand how crazy you sound?
ur mad cause azzi's former teammates and best friends called her the best shooter from uconn.....

Did not know saying Paige deserves fans who don’t turn on her and blow up every less than perfect game out of proportion using her haters’ talking points would be so controversial 😭✌🏽 apologies for thinking you calling her a “cuck” “passive” “fraud” etc. is not the winning narrative

Proud to have been out on this guy from day one. The schtick sucks!
Pat McAfee: "New York Times always saying it! 'This a**hole is shirtless at 9:02 a.m. Eastern!' Sorry, Coach. I'm ruining the whole sport; I'm ruining the whole sport because of this."

This is actually a condescending view of working-class people. I grew up in a working-class immigrant family and we ate at Red Lobster and The Cheesecake Factory for "fancy nights out." But even we understood that the White House should not look like the inside of a Red Lobster. Working-class people are not culturally illiterate just because their experiences are shaped by their limited means.
Does Obama not understand that to most Americans the Cheesecake Factory is a very nice and fancy restaurant?

They never will because then they’d have to actually deal with the fact that they are bad fans.
If her other fans can actually just accept that narratives influence media then maybe I will see less of bashing by her own fans.

2nd Team would beat 1st Team in a game which is sad.

What’s frustrating is that Paige is loud and proud about the type of player she is and wants to be. If you value something different, there are other players. You don’t have to act like a Paige fan just because you admire her skill while hating how she actually plays
Part of the issue is some of Paige’s loudest fans and media alike want her to be a completely different player just to conform to archetypes *they* value more. And if she doesn’t when things don’t go perfectly they’ll always lash her ✌🏽

This argument just shows ignorance of history. 1. We got the fucking ACA, which makes it so insurance companies can’t deny you coverage; free yearly exams; baseline coverage; could go on and on
I'm going to remind you that Obama 1.0 came in with a SUPERMAJORITY. filibuster proof! & what bold, radical legislation did we get? none. we got none. they will NEVER do it.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Democrats had a 60-vote Senate majority for only a few months in 2009-2010. It was not present when Obama took office and was limited by moderate Democrats and absences. They passed the Affordable Care Act in that window. legalclarity.org/did-obama-have… foxnews.com/politics/2009/…

And about that "supermajority": Democrats had 60 votes for roughly seven months. Franken wasn't seated until July 2009 because of the recount, Kennedy was dying and then gone, and Scott Brown took his seat in January 2010. That was the entire window.

So the lesson of Obama 1.0 isn't that a majority gets you nothing. It's that a majority got us the biggest expansion of health coverage since Medicare in a matter of months. Imagine what one that actually lasted could do.
