If they ever acknowledge "the beast inside him" again, i hope it isn't something like Shiv being a vampire, werewolf or a weremonkeymole thing and instead they keep it vague and have Shiv be a monster hunter that has the potential to become one and who has to actively try not to.

I feel like this would work really well as an allegory for his character too. Shiv is someone who tries so hard to present himself as a confident and well maintained man with skills but people still know who he was and are waiting for him to become a monster again.

I feel like having rage be Shiv leaning into the monster he has the potential to be without giving in and transforming would really add an oomph to his character and make him an even better foil to Silver who tries to keep her wolf form under control but keeps leaning back on it.

I understand her thematically and why she is an awesome opposite to the Hidden King but ugh I just wish she was cooler. I like her base but her just being the fucking statue of liberty is so meh. Also I feel like her delivery and voicelines are USUALLY just way lamer than HK :(

I think I just kinda wish the archmother had more going on with her design and sounded like the administrator from TF2. No hate to the voice actress, she is excellent for what she was asked to do but I just wish the archmother had more of a sharp oomph to her voicelines.
