Genesee County DSA commends local Democratic Party candidates, Sarah Wolcott, Victoria Guite, and Alissa Ellman, who pledge to oppose the construction of data centers in Genesee County, unlike their Republican Party counterparts. The people of Genesee County will certainly hold them to account for the promise inherent in this pledge. We oppose the construction of hyperscale data centers anywhere and would ask all candidates, for all offices and of any party, to oppose the construction of hyperscale data centers anywhere they can exercise their influence and legislative agency.
