The same man who prides himself on his role in the NADECO struggle against military rule now presides over a government facing serious questions about its commitment to the very democratic freedoms he once championed.
Bola Tinubu has repeatedly been celebrated as a father of democracy. But democracy is not a title to wear when convenient. It is a principle that must be defended, especially when citizens criticize those in power.
The DSS must never become a political weapon for intimidating citizens, silencing dissent, or suppressing opposing voices. Any misuse of state security agencies for political persecution is a direct assault on constitutional freedoms.
Democracy does not end when criticism of the president begins.
The government owes Nigerians answers, accountability, and respect for their fundamental rights. No president is above the Constitution, and no citizen should lose their freedom simply for challenging those in authority.

Why will a father inlaw brings his son's wife refusal to online? Are there no family members to resolve this issue?
Are there no ministers on ground to mediate? This says alot about the relationship between the father and the son. These are the fathers that neglect kids and see them struggle without blinking.
You'll be surprised to know that the son and his father might even not be in talking terms before he died. It will be possible that he only came for his property.
If you've been widowed before and you're in such families, you'll understand this kinds of people.

A painful family disagreement has reportedly erupted between late gospel singer Toluwanisings' father and his wife over where he should be buried.
While his father wants him laid to rest at his house or taken to Ikirun, where his late mother was buried, his wife reportedly prefers a cemetery in Ibadan.
Speaking with deep emotion, his father explained that he lives in a rented single room in Ikirun but insists that if his son cannot be buried at his home, he should be brought to Ikirun and laid to rest in his own father's house, just like his mother.
Unless she’s the one who built the house, this makes no sense. It’s not easy for her to see her late husband’s grave but she’ll be seeing his cars every day right???
