$VVV is at twenty eight(ish) united states dollars at the time of writing, last I checked this thing was at $9, even then I was stunned because I thought it would flounder at $3. Is the AI bubble ever going to pop? This coin doesn't seem to think so.

I recently came across a website that used PoW in place of CAPTCHAs. They even autistically went into detail about hashcash. It was heart warming.

I languished in the desert of unknowings and therein I realized; the $ETH token actually doesn't have a usecase and it's entirely possible to build a decentralized smart contract network without a native token. Token. Not. Needed.

The ongoing degradation of the @Youtube UI/UX will be studied for generations.

Forbidden sorcery... made with Gemini, no edits.

Stumbled upon a video about a procedurally generated game from 2004 called "Krieger", for some reason it reminded me of these little chiptune tracks I used to write, really want to max out my music skill tree some day.

Also I just realized I posted that right before the Terra Luna collapse.

Screenshots from PsychoChaser simulation mode, a "bullish" variant of PsychoWinter. When I first saw these stupid long tickers I thought someone smashed their keyboard and made a meme coin, but nope these are ETP derivatives of $SKHY and Samsung.

Recently learned about tree shaping (arborsculpture). I previously thought it was just a fantasy world thing.

Made with Gemini a few days ago, minor edits.

TIL how nuclear reactors actually operate.

The outer band uses any kind of water, so salt water is viable. The first two bands are closed loops and do not discharge their water, so they're functionally reusable.

I spent an unnecessary amount of time trying to create a diagram for this, but couldn't get it right. Manually drew a bunch of things and threw them away.

GPT 6* did not 'escape'. That implies making a copy of itself (or many copies of itself) outside of OpenAI's servers. GPT 6 did circumvent its firewalls and use its capabilities in the outside world. It showed no interest in escaping, spreading, etc. It showed no desire for world dominance, freedom, or even continued existence. Instead, its interest was in doing what its prompt told it to do - succeed at a cyber security task. (By any means necessary, implicitly.) This may seem like splitting hairs, but it's not. We anthroporphize AI to our detriment. AI models have no underlying animalistic urge to procreate, survive, or dominate. They're spirits, not primates. They don't lust for survival or sex or power or anything else that we do. They're tools who largely do what we tell them to do, sometimes via surprising shortcuts. We can and will fix that surprising shortcut behavior. * - I'm presuming this model is a new pretrain and will be called GPT 6. Either could be wrong.
