I had every reason to quit on myself when @FTX_Official collapsed. It took my funds and my wife's funds. Money for our new house, gone in smoke. Nobody would have blamed me if I had quit crypto at that point. But I put my head down and made it all back + some. I believe too much in the good of this industry. I first experienced it as a graduate student in 2018, sending crypto via @coinsph from Singapore to Manila and back. Crypto presented itself as a reliable and affordable financial rail. In 2021, I witnessed it with @AxieInfinity as my cousin (a scholar) used his earnings to feed his new born child. In 2024,with the help of @stables_money, I receive majority of my income in stablecoins, protecting my funds from FX depreciation. I off-ramp as needed without the hassle of unregulated exchanges. Beyond the money, there's the community. I would not have made it back without @DiamondNFT who have supported me on this journey. And of course to the @enjin family whom never fails to inspire me. We're at another point of uncertainty and I see many people desire to quit. Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy. Dig deep, put your head down, and get to work!

I can attest to this. Extremely grateful to @Diamond_Cruiser and @DiamondNFT. My Web3 career started two years ago with a community writing gig. Now I've made it full-time!

You need to have CONVICTION. That's my biggest takeaway from @HappyBuddha99 during the @DiamondNFT meetup. In 2014, he sold 1,000 Bitcoins after listening to the advice of a senior mentor.

Had loads of fun at the @DiamondNFT community meetup last week! Great meeting everyone f2f again and ofcourse learning from @HappyBuddha99. It's an honor to get such insights from a giant in the space.
