The most important documentary you can watch today to understand the sinister underground forces gaining momentum in their influence over mainstream UK politics

Ratko Mladić died today in a UN prison cell — convicted of genocide and war crimes including murder, terror, and unlawful attacks on civilians, and a campaign that killed thousands in Sarajevo alone, among them over a thousand children.
The documentary "Children of Sarajevo" tells that part of the story he never had to answer for by name. Through ICTY evidence, archival footage, and the testimonies of families and now-grown survivors, it documents what the siege actually did to the youngest people trapped inside it — and the ongoing fight to make sure that truth isn't erased.
His death doesn't close that fight. The murals glorifying him are still on the walls. The youth who see "hero" spray-painted next to his name still don't learn what he did. Courts already established what happened. The ongoing work is refusing to let that be negotiated away.

Mladić is dead.
A new generation of Bosnian children is here. Speaking our language. Carrying our names. Knowing our history.
They tried to erase us.
We are still here. Stronger than ever. 🇧🇦⚜️

As discussion of the so-called 'Humanitarian Reset' intensifies, we need to be asking what a new humanitarianism might look like:
Smaller, more agile, with greater local leadership? Or retreating from the frontlines whilst crises escalate around the world?

The combined tuition fees of the entire Question Time panel would not cover my cost for 1 year of uni.
Is that fair?

Definitely one of the funniest manifestations of the Americanization of UK politics — fear-mongering about “15 minute cities” in a country where 4/5 of the population lives in a 5-minute city and has done so since the Stone Age
🔴 The idea will see a person being able to access amenities within a quarter of an hour, but could result in traffic restrictions for drivers
