It's time to introduce the wonderful soloists who will be singing the St John Passion with us!
Baritone Lawrence White has performed, recorded and broadcast at many major concert venues, theatres and studios, both at home in the UK, in Europe and further abroad.
Highlights include Britten’s War Requiem with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Orff’s Carmina Burana with the Birmingham Royal Ballet and Orchestra.
Lawrence’s spare time is devoted to raising two beautiful young children - while keeping an eye on the cricket score.
We've been rehearsing hard for our St John Passion concert! Many members say their favourite part is the final chorus, Ruht Wohl, which conveys the laying to rest of Christ's body.
Do you agree? Buy your tickets to hear us on 27 March! ticketsource.co.uk/germancho… #StJohnPassion

We are honoured and delighted that our Musical Director Barbara Höfling has been awarded a German-British Friendship Award by the German Embassy for her work with the German Choir.
Barbara has led the choir since she founded it in 2009 and, under her leadership, it has grown from a small group of singers to one of London's leading amateur choirs performing in prestigious venues across the UK and Europe.
Peace and friendship between nations is a key theme of the choir's work and we couldn't think of a better person for the award to go to.
Congratulations Barbara! #Friendship #Peace #TogetherInMusic
