I'm qualified to say this because our Barrie Staff drafted Cole Beaudoin so trust me when I say that Johnny Mclaughlin has HUGE similarities to Cole. Not as big yet but unreal work ethic, a Coaches dream, does everything right on/off the ice & oozes leadership!-MS #2027NHLDraft
THE SPITS WIN IT WITH 0.4 SECONDS LEFT! 😱

You’re going to hear this name a lot this season.
He is legit and is going to shoot up rankings.

I’m serious when I say this is right there with John Tavares as one of the biggest trades in OHL history.
15 draft picks exchanging hands…
A blockbuster in the Big Nickel 🐺
The @Sudbury_Wolves have acquired 2026 third overall pick Tanner Adams from the @OHLSteelheads in exchange for 15 draft picks.

London add Santala to an already deep group at F.
Big signing, will come in as one of their top-2 centers and firmly be a first round pick for 2027.
100%.
Have seen “rankings” that don’t even have John in their top-64 and it’s ludicrous to me.
John McLaughlin was the single most improved ‘09 from start of the year, to finish. He’s a treat to watch here in Windsor.
Worst kept secret in Windsor. Was the NTDP player I was referring to earlier.

Big get for the Spitfires who have recently been gutted due to graduations.
Expect a NTDP player to sign shortly, too.

Honestly, he’s my favourite prospect for this years OHL draft. I think his potential is sky high in a year where no one really separated themselves.

Here’s the thing that I’d start to be concerned about if I was an NHL team…how is there enough playing time and responsibility to go around for some of these super teams getting built? Wouldn’t you rather your high pick get a year of top PP duties and first line minutes?
