Russia has accused Canada of violating the Olympic Charter and International Ice Hockey Federation regulations by refusing visas to Russian hockey players.
Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova cited Article 87 of the IIHF regulations, which requires tournament hosts to assist participating teams in obtaining entry visas. She accused Prime Minister Mark Carney's government of politically motivated interference in international sport.
Tell me Mr Carney, you duplicitous POS, why aren't you disallowing Russian NHL hockey players from entering Canadian hockey rinks to play Canadian teams who also have Russian players? Who is putting you up to this nonsense Mark, your bro Zelensky the thief from Kiev?
He banned Russia from playing in the world junior hockey championships in Calgary in December.
The court of arbitration for sport overturned the decision and told Canada they must allow them to play so Mark Carney said I might not control sports but I ultimately control who comes into this country and revoke their visas.
He's holding teenagers responsible for the decisions of adult politicians. These kids work their whole lives for this and for many this will be it. For a very few this is a stepping stone to greater things like the NHL.
