Here's a story about a video game that saved my life.
It's called Moon: Remix RPG Adventure for Playstation 1, and you can download a perfect version on @Nintendo Switch right now thanks to @oniongames and Tim Rogers @108.

How much are Baby Boomers propping up American Christianity?
I built a simulation: no converts, no children becoming adults.
Just each denomination’s 2024 adults, assuming everyone lives to 85.
Here’s how many remain through 2050.
• Superintendent Cassellius boldly says closing schools would have prevented vacancies this year.
• says $1,000,000 in operating savings and $2,500,000 in long-term maintenance savings
Superintendent Cassellius gave a long interview with @1017TheTruth about buildings, test scores, no vacancies, budget, and the intruder.

Garrett Bucks, @colleston, and @KristinBrey conversed about how parents choose schools.
(Opinion: I enjoyed it.)

Again, I cannot believe the Milwaukee Brewers just do this now.

🚨New report out today🚨
There's a lot of discussion about when young children should be home with their parents. @BahalSanya and I make the case for reviving a successful but forgotten program from Minnesota and Montana that helped new parents stay home with their infants. 🧵

Yet another successful Wisconsin Rapids and Milwaukee collaboration!

"Elle Fischer recently graduated from high school in Madison.
She kept YouTube open in a pinned tab throughout high school and watched 'Bridgerton' clips or people playing Roblox. She felt isolated even when surrounded by her classmates, all tapping away on their Chromebooks."
NEW: Last school year, a 7th grader viewed 4,700 YouTube videos during class.
An 8th grader viewed 5,700 videos in class.
A 2nd grader viewed ~500 in just 2 months.
Less than 5% were educational.
@nbcnews analyzed the YouTube watch histories of students from across the country. My new story shows how far some take it on their school laptops and iPads -->

Insightful reporting from @tylerkingkade, which cites some of my reporting for @CapTimes.
The story includes an analysis of one Madison sixth grader’s YouTube history. The student watched 2,204 YouTube videos during the school day last year. Just 21 videos were educational.

If your state is rehashing the debates and resentments of the last 15 years, you are going to be left behind.
May God save Wisconsin.
Futureproof through business dynamism, family friendliness, simpler regulation, and fulfillment of existing promises, not creation of new ones.
I have been listening to @EconTalker for two decades. It has become such a big part of my daily commute that it is hard to imagine driving to school on Monday morning without hearing Russ’ voice through my car speakers.
Thus, it makes me incredibly happy to be the guest on this week’s episode, “The Great Fertility Collapse.” I felt like a kid who, 20 years later, gets to play for his favorite football team.
The talk was fun, too, and we covered some of the topics I have often emphasized here on X: the facts about fertility collapse, what we know and what we do not know, and much more.
As always, we didn’t have time to cover more. So, just remember my favorite line these days: fertility and artificial intelligence are the only two issues that matter right now. I can’t think about anything else.
