The civilian who stops a mass tragedy doesn't feel like a victor. They usually feel like an absolute failure. On October 15, a 36-year-old carpenter from Bend, Oregon named Kaylub Giamanco made a series of completely mundane choices. He skipped running errands and decided to drive home to eat leftover tacos with his wife. That split-second timing put him right in front of Silver Rail Elementary School where his two young daughters were inside for school picture day just as a heavily armed 16-year-old shooter arrived. Kaylub didn't wait for a tactical team. He grabbed his .40-caliber handgun, dialed 911, and told the dispatcher: β€œI’m sorry, I have to go in. People are going to die.” He crawled through a shattered window, followed the sound of gunfire, and entered a special education classroom where a brave 25-year-old teacher was actively fighting the gunman. Kaylub intervened, ending the threat and saving countless lives. The political world immediately did what it always does: they tried to turn him into a talking point. But look at the reality of what happens when the cameras turn off. Kaylub is carrying a crushing weight. Three children and that brave teacher were killed before he could stop the threat. His first words to his mother after the event weren't victorious. They were an apology: β€œI didn’t save everybody. I didn’t get them all. I want to apologize for not saving their babies.” This is the agonizing reality of Moral Injury and Survivor's Guilt. The human brain doesn't celebrate the hundreds of lives saved; it traps the survivor in a hyper-focused loop of the casualties they couldn't reach in time. Kaylub can see the school from his house. He can’t sleep. His family has had to relocate temporarily, finding quiet grounding in board games and homemade chowder just to help their nervous systems down-regulate. What makes Kaylub’s story a profound blueprint for the rest of us is his refusal to let his trauma be turned into a partisan battlefield. He explicitly stated he does not want this politicized. Instead, he is channeling his grief into an evolutionary concept called Post-Traumatic Growth planning a grassroots community fundraiser to directly fund tangible school upgrades like reinforced glass, stronger locks, and school resource officers. When tragedies happen, society demands a clean, cinematic hero narrative. But true heroism is messy, painful, and carries a steep psychological debt. If we want to honor people like Kaylub, we have to stop using their trauma as political ammunition, support their real-world community initiatives, and accept that the burden of standing between evil and "the babies" stays with a person long after the sirens fade. How can communities better protect the mental health of civilians who step into critical incidents?

Where the hell is the UN?
Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo prays for America and Israel as he kneels and weeps in front of the mass grave of his own church members killed in Nigeria. His prayer: "Father, visit Trump - let him increase foot soldiers to come to Middle Belt. Use your power to bring out Benjamin Netanyahu to save us in Nigeria. Father, protect Israel from their enemy... bless America and Israel that would join to save us in Nigeria. I want peace to reign in this country. Fight the battle that we cannot fight."

London looks fun. How many more reasons do you need to vote red? This is what the democrats have in store for you. It’s an invasion and it’s coming for all of us. You just going to let them walk in?

🚨BREAKING: AOC says she has β€œno reason” to cooperate with federal auditors investigating her suspicious $22 million net worth. β€œI have the same right to privacy as everyone else.” Meanwhile, investigators are baffledβ€”how does a socialist congresswoman go from bartender to multi-millionaire without something shady going on? One federal official warned: β€œIt would be in her best interest to cooperate.”

Yep, we've lost Flint Michigan.. build a wall around it please. The suicidal empathy of people in Michigan has cost them their state at this point. The doctrine of Islam is not compatible with America, take a look

The right point of view. When we say Islam, we mean Wahhabism, xenophobia, and religious intolerance.

This is absolutely true. There are no peaceful muslims speaking out against the radical violence. This is guilt of omission.
