10 years after they were designated, Scotland's marine protected areas remain largely unprotected. Join me in telling @MairiMcAllan to end the delays and take this crucial step in helping our seas recover. scotlink.org/action #OceanRecoveryNow
Excellent start to the #GreatScottishSquirrelSurvey, we spotted 5 grey squirrels while looking for conkers down the Dalzell Estate, Motherwell 🐿️
Brilliant day out with our second cohort of #NextdoorNature Pioneers at Muiravonside Country Park 🦋🪲🐞
Thanks to @CBeebiesHQ Teeny Tiny Creatures and @redkingcraw, my 3yr old is dishing out barnacle facts at the dinner table. Loving it
Some excellent responses from @EdinburghZoo in the comments
Had a wren nest in my garden a few weeks ago that I suspected had failed. Think I was right as just watched a magpie predate eggs from ANOTHER wren nest, possibly a second attempt by the same parents ☹️

Quick walk along the Clyde at Motherwell this evening, butterflies everywhere. There are technically adorable ducklings in this photo! #30DaysWild
Was about to go in for a paddle when this guy appeared. Maybe not then #30DaysWild
Foxgloves in the driveway and busy bees out the back #30DaysWild
Just looking out my upstairs window and there are a huge number of bumblebees (possibly tree but can’t get a good look) so wondering if they’re nesting in the roof 🐝
Ultimate #30DaysWild day with a trip to see the gannet colony Bass Rock. With added dolphins and puffins!
Photo taken in happier times before 2yr old got ‘tired and emotional’
Perfect day to take TOIL and do another leg of the Clyde Walkway. Saw the Motherwell otters, kingfishers and so many sand martens! Then got a bit stranded in a garden centre, but was worth it
Fun afternoon picking litter with the Roslin Glen #WildlifeWatch group. Top prize to the kid who found a smashed iPhone! #WorkingForWildlife
