I put together a Tad Boy Color!
It's an awesome little project made by @leggomyfroggo that makes the Gameboy Color as small as possible, while still taking standard cartridges. I fell in love with the design when I got to hold Froggo's and had to build my own.
The aluminum shell @PCBWayOfficial CNC'd for the project feels amazing, I will absolutely be doing more aluminum projects in the future!
I'll be at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo tomorrow and Sunday! There will be lots of cool projects on display from me and some other cool modders, as well as lots of these mini Playstaceans that I put together.
We'll be at booth 826, hope to see you there!

Beyond ridiculous that some types of FINISHED electronics get to dodge the tariffs, but if I want to run a manufacturing operation here in the states, all the PARTS I need to run my business get 200%ed. Very sensible!!!
This is what a PCB order looks like for me with the new tariffs coming up. Spending an extra $200 (200ish%?????) for NOTHING isn't sustainable for my one-man American business.
An American fab that can manufacture a small run of 4-layer, 0.8mm thick PCBs doesn't exist! Cool!
Paint job by @palettecustoms . Really happy with how it turned out
The Playstacean and other members of the silly consoles gang are at the Midwest Gaming Classic this weekend! Swing by the BitBuilt/Ben Heck Experience room if you want to see how bad the pincer controllers feel in person

This video is like so awesome to me because half of the video is just @GingerOfMods trying to make my Playstacean real and having to solve problems my art decisions made lmao

I loved @anhdangerous 's original art so much that I had to build it myself. There's an OEM PSOne inside, with a handful of mods. Yes, the claw controller is fully functional. No, it is not comfortable to use.

New video. This one has been in the works for over 2 years. I think this is the best story I will ever tell on my YouTube channel.

Many internal changes to this guy. The goal was to make it as quick and easy to put together as possible. It's still a very tough build, but much improved.
This version of the Wiiboy Color will also be open-sourced within the next month, so you'll be able to build your own!
