It was brilliant! Have to say though - I was utterly shocked at the attitude of some of the ‘old-time’ Prommers. Unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude. If I was a 1st timer with no idea about their reputation, I wouldn’t go back. Nearly left before the 2nd half because of it!
Sparkling Tchaikovsky followed by a joyful encore: Howdy Forrester’s Wild Fiddler’s Rag, arranged and performed by violinist Augustin Hadelich 👏

New music takes centre stage at @PresteigneFest - a Welsh home from home for composers. Tonight, Edward Gregson’s viola concerto ‘Three Goddesses’ captured hearts and minds with rich storytelling and sumptuous playing from @rachrobviola and the Festival Orchestra.

WELSH PLACE-NAMES IN ENGLAND 🏴
Just *some* of the many place-names in England with Welsh equivalents.
I had to miss out so many to fit the ones included… and even most of those aren’t in exactly the correct positions!
Search ‘Welsh toponyms’ to find a much more extensive list.
