“There is no greater mitzvah than redeeming captives.” Thank you @SEPeaceMissions Witkoff and @kadmitriev for releasing Stephen and bringing him home!
Today, Stephen Hubbard is free and headed back home to his family.
Stephen is a proud American citizen, retired teacher, and U.S. Air Force veteran who loves our country.
Now, he is on his way back to a family who loves him, a President who never gave up on him, and a nation that proudly welcomes him home.
It was my honor to be with Stephen in St. Petersburg today before he departed for the United States. President Trump called Stephen to check on him and reaffirm his unwavering commitment to bringing all Americans wrongfully detained home.
Stephen joins more than 110 Americans who @POTUS has freed since returning to office, including Robert Gilman, Ksenia Karelina, and Marc Fogel.
This release was not part of an exchange - and we extend our thanks to President Putin for releasing him on President Trump’s request.
Thank you to @SecRubio, @JaredKushner, @CIADirector, Senior Director for Counterterrorism @SebGorka and the rest of the team for working tirelessly to achieve President Trump’s mission.
President Trump does not leave Americans behind and will continue fighting to bring them all home 🇺🇸.

Accelerating drug discovery, improving and saving human lives.
Four years ago to the day, we started Orchestra Bio to help biotech and pharma teams advance their drug development programs. AI has now reached an inflection point where people and agents can take this on together. Today, we’re thrilled to share that Orchestra Bio is joining OpenAI to continue our mission at an even greater scale.

In the face of the gravest danger and despite being seriously injured, he showed immense courage and an unwavering resolve to protect the lives of others.

The reviews on Dr. Shota Musaev’s dental clinic are popping up and, honestly, I’m totally for him to become famous. He is a hero of Israel

Captain Smit Machchhar of India saved 170 passengers after being stabbed by his co pilot, who was attempting to hijack the plane. Smit, unlocked the cockpit door allowing the Israeli passengers and the two pilots in the cabin to heroically rescue the plane from crashing.
Bucharian Jewish Dentist Shota Musayev is a national hero.
After hearing screams from the cockpit, Dr. Musayev and a few other passengers rushed forward to fight and successfully restrain the co-pilot.
As the only medical professional on board, Dr. Musayev provided emergency medical treatment to Captain Machchhar, who was suffering from heavy bleeding from his head and hands, stabilizing him until the plane could make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery.
Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals.
I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery.
He is a true hero.
@netanyahu
The hero Yaniv and other rescued passengers met with @netanyahu immediately on their arrival in Tel Aviv.
“I pulled back on the controls and stopped the plane's dive. Good thing I watched 'Air Crash Investigation.'"
