One of the most underrated skills in adulthood is learning how to start again without being embarrassed about it.
Starting a business again.
Learning a skill you should have learned years ago.
Rebuilding your finances.
Trying to figure yourself out in your 30s.
Going back to the drawing board when you thought you had it all figured out.
Life will humble you in ways you never planned for.
But please, don’t let the shame of starting over stop you from building the life you actually want. ❤️
I can’t believe this is real. It’s probably a Tyler Perry movie
Today, I’m choosing gratitude. For what I have, for what I’m learning, for what I’ve survived, and for all the beautiful things that are still unfolding. ❤️
Sometimes, we get so caught up in praying for what we want next that we forget to appreciate how far we’ve come.

When most men talk about 50/50, they only mean the finances.
The wife is still expected to cook, clean, wash, arrange, take care of the kids, run errands, put the house in order and any other tasks needed for the family to run smoothly.
A friend of mine was crashing out recently because of her husband.
Both of them work remotely, but my girl does the cooking, cleaning, prepares the kids for school, takes them to school, does the laundry, and still contributes 50% to the household expenses.
The last time she visited my place, she looked so exhausted that she slept for hours before leaving. That was how tired she was.
After listening to everything, I gave her one simple piece of advice: Since your husband wants a wife who does all these things, stop contributing to the household expenses. Let him account for every single thing, from seasoning cubes to the children's snacks. Use your money to take care of yourself.
She agreed and took my advice seriously.
Now, her husband wants to renegotiate. 😂
Some of you men are extremely wicked. Because you're the man, you think your wife should carry the weight of the home physically, mentally, and financially, while you act as though you're doing her a favour.
How can two people work remotely, yet one person is expected to do almost everything at home and still split the bills 50/50?
I’ve noticed that male doctors tend to make more small talk with patients.
They’ll ask about your day, what you do, or just chat about random things to make you feel comfortable and maybe get you to smile while theydo their thing.
Even in between explaining things or attending to whatever brought you to the hospital, they seem to make an effort to keep the conversation going.
Female doctors, on the other hand, seem more likely to smile, get straight to the point, attend to you, and go quiet in between.
And this isn’t based on one or two experiences. I’ve noticed it countless times, with different doctors in different hospitals.
