In some personal news, today is my last day as Fashion Editor of The Australian, the best job in the country. It has been an absolute privilege to steer the chic end of news here for almost a decade, and now I’m pumped for a new chapter running my own show. What a ride!
It was the final show of London Fashion Week in Feb 2018, for a young designer called Richard Quinn. The theming had a lot of faded pomp & ceremony, just be part of the show, we thought. Then a voice said, “Would you all please rise for Her Majesty the Queen.” #RIPQueenElizabeth
