Cooper Flagg • Pledge Allegiance to the Flag 🇺🇸 The current logo is trash so I redesigned it. Much better now.

This is why this idea of “hard work” is very finicky. If two twins grew up with the exact same conditions — Amen and Ausar Thompson — theoretically, they should be the same. However, Amen Thompson is the far better free throw shooter, which is the most controlled measure we could possibly have. This is why I think scouting is so much more important than developing. And let me tell you something about scouting: Elite players are always elite, even before the NBA. NBA scouts are just hella overrated tbh, they get beaten by analytics which are wrong all the time (Kenny Atkinson type beat). The best test is looking for outliers. Physical outliers, statistical outliers and even anecdotal outliers. For example, Luka Doncic was the youngest MVP in Euroleague history. That’s reason enough to take him seriously as a top 3 prospect, and then you break down the game and realize he’s incredible. Or Sergio de Larrea who was broke Thiago Splitter’s record for the youngest MVP in ACB’s opening tournament. Or Kawhi Leonard with his freakish physical attributes. Stephen Curry with his otherworldly offensive production. The signs are always there. You just have to find them.
Need this to be put in perspective for young hoopers he talked about putting up this many shots a day but it hasn't translated to in SZN play at all...

Ngl, if we drafted Izaiyah Nelson we would’ve been in a significantly better place. We’re honestly cooked just because Dunleavy doesn’t know ball icl. He drafted Yaxel, but like at pick 11 there was really no other choice.

Also, Izaiyah Nelson hasn’t played a single NBA game so when I’m right, it will be a slight moment of joy, followed by many negative thoughts about Dunleavy’s abilities as GM.

We all wanted one thing and one thing only for JK: To know his role. And now that he's fulfilling that role, they try to do a "gotcha" moment on us when we're telling the world you're not Congolese Kobe.

Also, none of this applies in the Playoffs or March Madness or any important tournament. That’s different. That’s when you choose what’s more important to you: Glory or comfort.
Jalen Williams whole body falls on his foot, and that’s when the injury happens. If you’re a hooper I got two very important messages for you: 1. Please be careful when landing on one foot. I don’t know what Jdub could’ve done to avoid it after the contact, but please be careful. 2. If you like to draw fouls, please understand one possession doesn’t make or break a game. If bracing for your safety leads to a turnover or a missed shot, trust me, it’s more than okay. Make up for it on the next possession, but your health is more important than any victory. That being said, it’s an unavoidable part of the game. I hope more fans can appreciate the sheer effort and intensity these athletes play with night-in, night-out.

Remember when I said this…
If someone looked me in my face and said LaMelo Ball is a better playmaker than Stephen Curry, I would agree with them. Y’all do not understand how impactful LaMelo Ball is. He’s cut from the same cloth as Luka Doncic & Tyrese Haliburton.
