It's here.
Go Lopes Radio Digital Magazine: Volume 1, is available NOW at golopesradio.com.
We didn't want to do just another season preview, so we put together nearly 100 pages of curated and hand-written content.
Season recaps through my eyes, @blakedfs_ player scouts, a season preview with every opponent, and more.
I hope you consider supporting us as we head into this new college basketball season!
Always love hopping on with @King_TylerB on @BasketballinMTs! A quick GCU preview as we look ahead to the real thing Monday.
Episode 102 of @BasketballinMTs is live. We continue our college hoops season preview series by taking a look at @GCU_MBB and the @MountainWest.
@GoLopesRadio returns for an in-depth breakdown of the loaded GCU roster and the conference title race.

Tyrin Jones has a scary ceiling, nobody like him in the conference.
I asked @CoachJPastner at Mountain West Media Day, the balance of coaching Tyrin and letting him fly around and use his instincts. His response:

Not only is this a MWC hoops preview but also a schedule, resource and player guide, plus some insider stories. Buy it once and use it all season long thepitpress.com/shop/p/2026-…
Looks like no Dan Skillings Jr. for the moment as those who tried to move from the Georgia case to the Texas one are denied.
Theo all over it here, and reporting that GCU's Dan Skillings Jr. has moved (alongside a handful of others) their case from Georgia to Texas, where they are hoping for a more favorable ruling.
Gonzaga's Chauncey Wiggins is now attempting to join the Wheeler vs. NCAA 5-in-5 lawsuit in Waco, Texas, after withdrawing from the Georgia case. Players in that suit currently have an injunction through at least Dec. 14, when arguments will be heard. A hearing for Wiggins and others to be included will take place tomorrow at 9:30 a.m.
(Learning a lot about legal docs through all this. They make you pay $1 for these records in Texas.)
Postgame reaction wit @blakedfs_!
We praised Makaih for his play and specifically what he brought offensively, on a night where they lacked some juice on that end.
Could Makaih be the go to guy for this season's Lopes?

Had to do it! After a first look at this year's Lopes, @blakedfs_ and I recorded a rapid reaction to everything we saw
- Addressing the slow start and clunky offense
- Player by player of what we liked
- A lot, a lot of Amarion Dickerson praise
And much MORE!

GCU Head Coach Bryce Drew on health updates:
"We expect to have Jaden, Dylan and Caleb all ready this week, and for the game Monday"
In regards to Dan Skillings "We are working through some things, we will update you guys once we find some more information out".
Efe has fouled out with 10:06 left, only played 13 minutes.
Behrend with 4 fouls in 15 minutes. Will be something to monitor every night this season.
Encourage you to watch this clip from my interview with Mar this summer, where he talks about blocking shots as a guard. High level stuff from him on that end tonight!
GCU really ramping things up defensively. Steals, blocks, deflections, flying around. They have now extended their lead to 52-35 at the under 16.
Omaha Biliew hits a three with a few seconds left in the half, Lopes now lead 40-30. Final 8 minutes was some much better hoops.
Here is the GCU halftime box score. 'Mar, doing it all!
Really good stretch of play here by the Lopes, slowly coming together. A few good stops and turnovers on the defensive end, and some easier baskets. They now lead 31-27.
Lopes have had a few good possessions here recently, getting better on the offensive end. They are still down 25-22 at the under 8. Makaih leading the way with 10 points and has made two 3's.
Harsh truth here 8 minutes into this game. Western New Mexico is vastly outplaying the Lopes. They lead 15-8, and just have been flat out better.
Lopes sloppy offensively, bad fouls, and not contesting/making catches hard enough for shooters. Really sloppy start.
