EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Josh Davis helped Wyoming win championships and beat Gonzaga in the NCAA Tournament. Now the Cowboy great is facing a much different fight after being diagnosed with blood cancer. pokesnews.com/post/exclusive…
Josh Davis was a force as a player. True inside out and one of the best players ever at @wyo_mbb and then played in the @NBA I’ve heard stories for years from his Coach @coachsmcclain and is a player you would always root for. He’s still young with a young family.
Cowboy Nation,
Let’s show the world what we can do when one of our own needs us. Josh gave his heart and Soul to UW. I hope the you can all return the Love.

All great players for sure. A top 12-20 would be good so we can see certain names be recognized. When it comes to these lists - people have their favorites. Some names aren’t debatable though (college or nba)

🚨 More NCAA Athletic Dept CHAOS 🚨
Ambitious new Pac-12 member Boise State University Athletics is facing a potential $18 Million deficit.
Why?
From paying a tiny percentage of its athletes $10 Million in rev-share.
And, due to the school's move to its very similar new conference.
Take a guess how BSU will pay for all of this?
Yup, tapping into the school's "institutional reserves."
Now take a guess where that "institutional reserves" money comes from and who pays for it...

Today I stopped by to talk with some of our student athletes. I'm proud of these students and am looking forward to an exciting fall season for @wyoathletics. Let’s fill the stands and bring the energy for our student athletes! 🤠
Mountain West reporters are hearing rumors as well. Those rumors are higher than the 47 cents rumors being circulated.
I am not judging who is right or wrong as that doesn't really matter. What matters is the Mountain West has met all their financial obligations under the GOR and getting paid a lot of money from the PAC and former members.
Some reporters for PAC-12 schools feel an intense need to write their narrative. It is imperative for them to try and separate themselves from the MW, at least in public opinion.
The MW doesn't have this need as the facts are the facts. No narrative is needed.
This goes back to my post yesterday about professionalism. But as we know, most people will believe whatever "reporting" furthers their own thinking and opinions.
Replying to @TBM_JY @UNLVRebelGrl
Estimates have all come from Canzano, Zeigler & Wilner. All Pac-12 writers.
That being said where are those writers in the Legacy MWC 7 disputing the info? Crickets.
Albuquerque - Crickets
Colorado Springs - Crickets
Honolulu - Crickets
Laramie - Crickets
Las Vegas - Crickets
Reno - Crickets
San Jose - Crickets
Meaning MWC fans/supporters can say that the Pac-12 writers are distorting the truth but the reality is none of the MWC media are disputing what the Pac-12 writers are tossing out there which leads me to believe the MWC needs to do a better PR job than they’re currently doing.
It’s like the MWC media has surrendered to whatever Pac-12 writers insinuate.
@TBM_JY you’re not considered “The Media” in this scenario. Where are the MWC beat-writers? Why aren’t they pushing back or disputing the info with their own “sources”?
Either they’re sleeping on the job or they’re hearing the same stuff and have nothing to dispute the info.🤷🏻♂️

Today’s the 107th Birthday 🎂 of the greatest most influential Sportscaster of and thankfully in my lifetime. “The Cowboy”@wyoathletics Hall of Famer, many don’t know he’s in the Naismith Hall of Fame, truly the original American Sportsman Curt Gowdy. We met (and quite by chance in 1982’ as he guested on my Sportstalk Show in New Orleans Final Four Week. He changed my life and outlook on my career journey in ways I’ll never forget. My deceased younger brother a great International Journalist Curt Brandao, was named after him by his brother 11 years his elder.(me)In 2023 FOX had me in Laramie and I visited the State Park named for him. His son @curtgowdyjr I know is thinking of him today, and 12 years after Curt took me to a 3 hour breakfast at that Final Four, his son Produced my @LLBWorldSeries games with @SteveyGarvey6 on @espn. God Bless And Happy Birthday Curt. You made a difference in my life forever. 🙏💜
