It only needs an excuse.
Trying to change someone who doesn't want to change is like watering a dead plant. You pour in your time, your patience and your energy, and nothing ever grows. The only thing that runs dry is you.
Some lessons can't be taught. They can only be lived. Let life teach them what you couldn't, and save your energy for the people who are actually ready to grow.
