@SileNicC I’m trying to learn Connemara Irish and came across this book. Was wondering if you or anyone you might know would ever be interested in recording these for learners and predators play on radio? siopaleabhar.com/en/product/…
The reason I ask you is because I found #Bailte not only inspiring but also your enunciation is very clear for new learners like me and your Irish seems close enough to the Irish I’m learning in “Learning Irish” and “Colloquial Irish”. Go raibh maith agat!
Maidin mhaith. I have been trying to learn #gaeilge for about 7 months now and part of it for me seems to be also trying to figure out the odd relationship between the Irish and their official language. 1/8
In a cúpla focal, “can you tell me how its even possible for people to take 12 years of Irish and not be capable of speaking any?”

Also, I can only imagine how rough it must be for native Irish speakers -Gaeilgeoirí - to hear people complaining about how horrible Irish classes are and how they feel pain when they think of it.
