🥼 At the beginning of January we welcomed 4 PhD students into our lab for a practical.
🦠 Along with Kati, they isolated phages and they tested antibiotics against an environmental bacterium.
🧫They also had time to do Petri dish art 🌟
Kati successfully passed her PhD candidacy exam 👏🏼
We also celebrated the grants we obtained and Justine's birthday 🎈🍾🎂
After 6 months in the lab, our first Master Student @Anna_Carla_26 brilliantly defended her master thesis! It was amazing to have you in the team. Congratulations 🥳🍾
☀️ This summer, we welcomed 8 bachelor’s students!
👨🏼🔬👩🏻🔬 Alix, Lukas, Nolan, Victor in July, then Marie, Nafi, Nicolas and Rachel in August investigated the bacteriostatic vs bactericidal effects of various antibiotics on gut bacterial strains.
