Journal Issue 3, boiled down to seven lines on page 19.
Our pick is number 4. Soft oxide and early bottle-roll recoveries are where the heap-leach case for Akoko (LSE:HAMA) starts. Our view, not advice.

Ten years, two hard assets. Gold went from $1,171 to $4,038. Bitcoin went from $746 to $80,007.
Both had brutal years along the way, and 2026 hasn't been kind to either. The decade says what currencies can't: scarce money keeps its ground. So we hold the pair.

Cabral took a soft-oxide heap-leach starter at Cuiú Cuiú to first gold. Akoko, Hamak's (LSE:HAMA) gold focus, runs on the same idea at an earlier stage and a smaller scale.

Gold is geological. Bitcoin is protocol. Both are hard to make more of.
Currencies can be printed. Gold has to be mined, and bitcoin's 21 million cap is set in code. So we hold the pair.

Akoko, Hamak's (LSE:HAMA) gold focus, grades 0.76 g/t: under one gram of gold per tonne of rock. At that grade, the process decides the project.
Initial bottle-roll tests (Hamak RNS, 29 Jul 2026): soft oxide gave up 85–94% of its gold, sulphide 68%. Lab tests, not a heap-leach trial.

Akoko, Hamak's (LSE:HAMA) gold focus, is soft weathered rock over harder sulphide. That shape drives how it's dug, how the gold is recovered, and what it might cost.
The deposit comes before the headline number. Journal Issue 3, page 2. Our view, not advice.

The PEA isn't out yet. When it lands, we won't be reading the headline number first.

Gold or bitcoin? We think that's the wrong question.
One is 5,000 years of trust. The other is fixed supply built for the internet. Holding both is a conviction, not a hedge.
