If someone purchases a Ledger device from an official authorised reseller and later loses their funds due to a malicious hardware implant, who is held responsible? Would Ledger compensate affected customers, especially if the device passed its Genuine Check? Or would victims simply be left waiting for law enforcement to investigate and potentially recover their funds?
