Roll Into Town comes from Irish board game designer Chris Heaney.
It's a roll & write game where you're trying to secure the prosperity of your town, which isn't always easy!
Why not see what I thought of it?

Morning everyone! I hope you're all keeping well
As you may have noticed I've not been online for a while and that's because I've been unwell and am putting board game reviews on hold for the time being.
So please enjoy these final two reviews for @HobbyWorldInt 1/3

And while I've not played the video game Age of Wonders: Planetfall @HobbyWorldInt you should see if a space drafting exploration game is up your street!

A special filming selfie!
I usually take these as a reminder of the triumph of getting something filmed
I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (chronic pain & exhaustion) It explains why I take these photos - it's both physically & mentally hard to make things I enjoy. 1/?
So I got to try Raja of the Ganges: The Dice Charmers from Huch!
If you've played Raja of the Ganges then you've pretty much played this. It's a lovely implementation of one of the most vibrant worker placement games I own.
If only I could figure out those darn roads!
So since I've been hitting the movies a lot lately I'm going to start a tiny thread about what I saw and what I thought!
First up is The Batman

And this was simply fantastic! Funny, entertaining and it brought its own mini Batman movie. Lots of things to love here even if it is another multiverse movie 4/5
It's been a while since I updated this thread but tonight's film was most deserving!
imdb.com/title/tt13238346/?r…
Such a simply lovely movie. It's sad and touching while keeping you on the edge of your seat. Loving all the feels 4/5
Brazil: Imperial @PortalGamesUS is a lovely looking 4x game.
You want to be Emperor of Brazil (couldn't we have a better theme?) Go explore, trade goods, and create buildings & armies to rise in power.
A tidy and quick game with nice ways to enhance your actions!
SEAL Team Flix @wizkidsgames is a dexterity flicking game, you are SEALS braving scary situations to save the day
While I was disappointed to meet the IRA & tree huggers on a mission, I love the multiple female characters & cool ways to flick your guns
Awkward but entertaining!
Monday morning have stuff to do tunes!

That's about right!

Let me tell you a story about Atiwa @LookoutSpiele
First, you get the fruit
Then you get the bats
Then you get the trees
Then you get the fruit
Which lets you get the bats!
This is a cool puzzle about filling your board without interfering with the lifecycle of the land. Fun!
Did you know that the director of photography for 'Drive' also worked on one of my favourite Irish films 'Into the West'?
Taking the most lovely trip down memory lane with it 🙂
Today I'll mostly be humming:
