On this date 85 years ago, the Cumberland River at Nashville froze over, allowing for people to walk across the river. Some even went ice skating. The river has not frozen over since. tinyurl.com/32p49364

Today I learned of the passing of Jon Scott. @jonscott7549. Jon was a great friend. A mentor. A fellow agronomist and pilot. He treated me as much the teacher as the student. We had war a few times. With each other and with others. He was formidable in every way. RIP, Dear Friend

My “me and the kids” adventures are coming to an end. With Anna and Timothy starting their Sr. and Jr. years I guess they’re not kids anymore. Thanks for letting me tag along and keeping an eye on me on the Ocoee. We were super blessed with and awesome day and the coolest crew.
