Flying out of Minneapolis this morning after another “ShakeDown Saturday” in CFB. A lot of Top 15 shuffling this week. There are times when doing something ya love for a living really brings peace to an otherwise stressful or difficult time. That’s certainly true yesterday. Thanks @HawkeyeFootball and @GopherFootball for an exciting finish, but more so for the access to catch up with you, your players and their storylines. In my home state it’s been a rough few months of legends lost. This week I was hit hard by the loss of Dale Brown. Having your game with your guys and Coaching staffs, and Sports Information people really diverted that sadness into happiness getting to call ball 🏈 just as my dreams had hoped. Just a word of caution…you’re going to hear a lot of “the SEC is eating each other up” which is true. But it’s not just the SEC. It’s all leagues. Just don’t let them fool you into thinking the SEC is the only one playing tackle while everyone else is playing flag football.
