The British Anglo State media in Scotland only ever tell the people of Scotland what the British Anglo State wants them to hear. The stealing of Scottish resources is a classic example of how Perfidious Albion operates:

The English government is to ban new North Sea drilling. This comes at a time when, according to that same government, we should be stockpiling food, water and other essentials in preparation for potential attacks. Apparently, accessing our own oil and gas is not essential in wartime, despite the fact that this forces Scotland to rely on imports from abroad, which could be sunk before they even reach our shores. The fearmongering and nonsensical policies imposed by England must be firmly rejected by Scotland. The influence of this farcical regime has gone on long enough. Scottish independence is the only option.

Labour MPs have accused Andy Burnham of hypocrisy over his ban on drilling for new oil and gas in the UK, saying that importing oil and gas while banning Britain's own drilling is an absurd "act of self-harm". dailysceptic.org/2026/11/05/…

Nothing screams “Energy Independence” quite like making it illegal to drill for your own oil and gas while happily importing the stuff from Norway and the US - then locking the ban in so future governments need a full parliamentary majority to reverse your masterclass in self-sabotage.

🛌 Labour must wake up before the energy bills disaster hits. New analysis predicts the price cap will rise by 28.8% in Jan, with bills forecast to soar from £1,723 in Oct to £2,361 by Apr. In energy-rich Scotland, no one should be pushed into debt just to keep the heating on!

Unelected PM Burnham’s response to the worldwide energy crisis is makes new North Sea drilling illegal. The deliberate destruction of the UK our culture and economy continues. How can anyone still even consider voting Labour ? telegraph.co.uk/business/202…

In Oslo, Norway: 'He can't be for real, can he? Britain will need gas and oil for at least 30 years more. And he's just closing down their own gas and oil industry? So they'll have to buy it from us, rather than use their own? We win! We get the profit on sales AND all the taxes too! Champagne all round!' telegraph.co.uk/business/202…

Memories are short! Only 12 years ago, the SNP's offer to Scotland was to make the country very rich on the back of 'their' oil. Now Mr Burnham in England wants to destroy the whole Scottish oil industry. About as politically savvy as whatisname...the guy who was there before... He's nuts! telegraph.co.uk/business/202…

BBC Reporting Scotland increasingly coming across as a hostile foreign Govt's broadcaster in Scotland. This would be tolerated if Scotland had its own broadcasting, but when that hostile Govt's news broadcaster IS your nation's only broadcaster, & Scots are forced to pay for it..

Come on, my fellow Brits . Do you bit now and fuck Brexit in its entirety.. The UK politicians need to stop with their pathetic timidity & denial. The UK *needs* to be a member of the EU. All need to make it clear to the pusillanimous (compromised) twats holding office & in opposition.

If the King or the UK Labour Government finally apologise for Britain's heavy involvement in the Slave Trade what are the chances of an apology for allowing the Highland Clearances to go on unabated for decades? There NEVER has been an apology!

Not a single penny of the UK Labour budget went towards supporting Scottish communities who rely on extortionate heating oil. That’s why the Scottish Government have had to step in with the Emergency Heating Oil Scheme — and I think the Hon. Member knows it’s the right thing to do…

Andy Burnham and Ed Miliband play steel drums in the Caribbean. The whole scene has the energy of a corporate away-day that got out of hand after downing a bottle of rum, or a particularly grim episode of The Generation Game.

Brexit was sold with the promise of £350 million a week for the NHS. Instead, the cost of trading with the EU has topped £7 billion in just four years and M&S has had to rent a warehouse to store the extra paperwork. This is the Brexit dividend: a mountain of bureaucracy and a bill businesses, workers and consumers are left to pay.

The Labour government banning new North Sea drilling while still begging for imports from dirtier, farther-away sources. Classic self-harming nonsense. Kill your own jobs, jack up energy bills and pretend you’re saving the planet. Performative nonsense.

Burnham is bonkers! Ensuring his and future governments cannot get their hands on all those tax revenues just sitting in the ground waiting to be released. So they'll have to squeeze taxpayers like you and me even harder And still have to buy oil and gas from abroad. Cui bono? telegraph.co.uk/business/202…

When other energy-rich nations are supporting their citizens and investing in their public services, why should Scotland put up with soaring energy bills and a £650 million cut from Westminster? The only way to reach our full potential is with the full powers of independence.
