What does the film show? Is AG correct? Was Garrett really mad at Geno? I break it all down ⬇️⬇️⬇️ youtu.be/jLZTppH7ePg

Geno takes the sack, instead of hitting a WIDE OPEN Isaiah Davis in the flat. For a walk in TD! He steps up assuming pressure but it’s blocked well, stands still, takes the sack and kills the drive. Two plays later Sanders misses the FG. Should have been 21-14 at this point.

Geno is missing so many open players. This is a problem, on all three these are huge plays missed. - Step up in pocket launch to AD broken coverage NOPE -3rd and 1 broken coverage Ruckert open for a walk in TD NOPE -Garrett open middle of field takes check down instead. This is not good.

Wrong. Yelling at Seth Ryan. Stop with this nonsense. Garrett even said he wasn’t talking to Geno in his press conference. But you will continue with this narrative. Please just admit you made a mistake and instead of making Garrett to be a disgruntled player show the tension with this coaching staff instead.
Garrett Wilson giving an earful to Geno Smith on the Jets' bench, as caught by CBS cameras. #Jets

The amount of people in the replies saying Garrett isn’t untouchable is wild. We finally have a solid WR1 and WR2 combo and people want to trade it away. It isn’t easy finding these players, when you get them you keep them.
With the Jets now probably looking like sellers at the deadline who would you like to see moved for future picks? Garrett Wilson is untouchable… other than that, who?

The real problem that needs to be talked about is Frank Reich’s inability to utilize Garret Wilson. This is the core issue facing the Jets and if this coaching staff can’t do it the get coaches here who will.

I can’t even watch the Seahawks game because all I think is… Why can’t we scheme open Garrett Wilson like they do for JSN? It makes no sense.

BECAUSE GARRETT WASNT YELLING AT GENO! please go back and watch the replay, Garret is clearly frustrated and directs it toward Seth Ryan not Geno. Maybe they are downplaying it because you are making it up.
Both players downplay the heated moment on the bench, Wilson saying he wasn’t yelling at Smith.

Lazy reporting, running with the story because it fits your narrative. He is clearly yelling at Seth Ryan. But go ahead, write your headlines try to grab your clicks as Jets fans everywhere pay attention to you mess and less.
"I don't remember that. He might have been yelling, but I don't think he was yelling at me" Geno Smith is asked about an exchange on the sideline between him and Garrett Wilson:

AG said he didn’t call time outs at the half because the defense was going to stop them. Let’s follow that logic, even if they go three and out after the 2 min warning, with a 40 second play clock and an average play if 5 seconds that means you would have - 15 seconds. If they have an incompletion or you call it after 3rd down you have about 30 seconds left Vs. If you call time outs and you force a 3 and out you have around 1:30 left on the play clock. Obviously they scored, we didn’t stop them. But you don’t know that after first down, and that’s the problem.

So the thought process is our defense will stop them don’t use out timeouts… If your defense is stopping them even more reason to preserve the clock!
"A player of his magnitude, we have to do everything we can to try to get him the ball. Again, I'm going to put that on myself." Aaron Glenn talks about Garrett Wilson having another quiet game:

The narrative will be GW is frustrated with Geno. The truth is, GW is frustrated with Seth Ryan here. Look at the eye contact. This isn’t a disgruntled player, this is a player frustrated with the coaching, that’s a huge difference.
A frustrated Garrett Wilson has some words for Geno Smith on the @nyjets sideline as he's been a non-factor with the Jets trailing the winless Dolphins 21-14. Smith appears unmoved.

Last week end of half is on Geno and offense. This week completely on AG

Rewatching this film is going to hurt.

Before the game I felt that the Jets could get the ball deep, and that the TE’s could have a big day. I also was worried the the Dolphins were better than 0-5 suggested and their run game would give the Jets trouble. Unfortunately correct. Nothing like being a Jets fan.

It’s almost like wasting a time out because the play call doesn’t come in fast enough is a bad thing in the second half!

0-8 in the AFC East is an absolute brutal stat. Is this the game that ultimately seals Aaron Glenn’s fate? Will woody actually fire him?
