The one time I am not happy we are #1 in the world :(

Masking for covid = "I will wear this thing just in case I breathe in something really fucked up". Masking for haze = "if I do not wear this thing, I will 100% breathe in something really fucked up."
OMG I look like such a makeup free sweaty mess. No shame in the game. In spite of the heat and humidity, the vibes cannot be beat - such energy in this city, so fucking cool. One of the greatest cities in the world in spite of everything (the seasonal haze, natch). I LOVE IT.
They closed down Joo Chiat street in Singapore for “car free day” and everyone showed up. This street fair is sooo insane. Hot as hell, I think I am out. But I love living in a big city, it is amazing

I escaped LA to get away from the wildfire smoke and the smog, only to be hit with the transboundary haze from Indonesia upon my return to Singapore. I am very sensitive to air pollution so I am kinda miserable. Cannot leave the house without a KN95 mask TBH.

That transboundery haze problem is making me sick as a dog. Why is Singapore and Malaysia not going FULL KAREN on this issue?
I need to speak with the manager. I also need to speak to an asshole attorney. #FullKaren
I feel so privileged to be living in Singapore rn. Our biggest annoyance is the humidity and the seasonal haze from Indonesian wildfires. We got amazing food, universal healthcare, good governance, world class infrastructure and social harmony. But yes, the humidity sucks.
I am not paying US taxes anymore, but I am still outraged by the Trump administration's waste of taxpayers money. These are taxes paid by hardworking Americans who do have have access to the tax loopholes available to the wealthy 1%. #shame
Meantime, healthcare is a mess and ageing infrastructure needs to be maintained and repaired. Cost of living is through the roof, and US is mired in a war with no exit strategy. I feel for the American people.
It's been a rough week health-wise with incessant post-nasal drip and coughing! I am hoping it goes away so I can go see Odyssey. It would be soooo embarassing to be coughing in the theater. People would hate me. I would have to leave the theater, and it would be a bummer.
Greetings from Singapore 🇸🇬, wishing all Americans a Happy 4th of July! Today I mailed in my I-407, giving up my Green Card. Farewell, my lovely America - it's been real. I will always treasure my time in your country. 🇺🇸
