Patrick Stewart’s Picard is one of the great TV performances of all time. It took awhile for the show to catch up with how great he was. No matter what material he was given, he was always elevating it.

sure, a writer in 1955 could sell a short story for ten grand. but if he wanted to look at his phone he was completely fucked
Never need to see another chart of “types of guys” with a dumb little wojak or AI images and five bullet points that are all like “thinks ‘coffee’ is a personality” but people seem to love these things.

In my mind, I call it ‘Star Star’
PROJECT HAIL MARY author Andy Weir has an idea for a STAR WARS and STAR TREK crossover.
“In my mind, I call it 'Star Star’…The idea is that the Genesis device going off at the end of 'The Wrath of Khan' rips a hole in the fabric of reality. And so did, too, the Death Star exploding in 'A New Hope.' It becomes the Yavin/Mutara wormhole. Then I imagine the Enterprise goes there, and so from that point forward, the stories diverge from canon…When the Enterprise goes to the 'Star Wars' universe, Spock [Leonard Nimoy] is dead, because it's the end of 'The Wrath of Khan,' but then Spock becomes a Force ghost. And Sulu [George Takei] has inherent Jedi abilities which manifest once he goes there."

RIP Walter Koenig. Forever iconic because of his portrayal of Chekov on Star Trek, but I want to show some love to his very underrated turn as the arch-villain, psychic cop "Alfred Bester" on Babylon 5.
#RIP Walter Koenig. As Chekov on ‘Star Trek,’ he got lots of mail “from 8- to 14-year-olds. They said, ‘I think you’re groovy, I love your hair’ — which was a wig, by the way. I got hundreds and hundreds of letters, the third most after Bill and Leonard.” hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-…

I feel like saying "Quirk Chungus" is a bit more embarrassing than being "Quirk Chungus"
people despise how this guy looks. I don’t really get it. I guess it’s hard to look like a three lines of dialogue day player in a ‘54 western these days.
