Impressive recovery in corn today 🌽
Is the USDA damage finally done?
We broke below the August lows today before reversing +9 cents off the lows and closing green
This potential reversal is happening at a key level
It’s the August lows and the bottom of that old range from last year
We’re also sitting at a massive shelf of volume that we’d like to see act as support
We do have to be mindful that there is a large gap of air to the downside if we fail here. But for now it’s viewed as support
Dec corn is also the most oversold it has ever been for this contract. Which adds more optimism of finding support here
Can’t hate today’s price action but we need to see some follow through before getting overly excited

Well. ARC/PLC is a dud. What a fucking joke compared to how hyped it was. Know one guy that got 248 dollars. 248 fucking dollars. And they farm 3k acres

Shawty Dred, SNAP is for feeding hungry Americans, NOT feeding your hustle. 💸🚫
The taxpayer-funded gravy train is OVER.
Thanks to @VP, @WHFraudTF, @DepSecVaden, @USDA_FNA and USDA OIG’s John Walk for helping put SNAP fraud on notice. 🇺🇸

The 29¢ Dec26-Jul27 carry lets farmers lock in a storage return by selling July futures against bin corn. That premium covers costs only if your all-in ownership expense (interest, shrinkage, insurance, opportunity) stays under ~4¢/bu/month plus any basis gain.
Compare your true costs to the offered carry. Hedge and hold if the edge is positive; sell cash or nearby otherwise. Re-evaluate as basis and spreads shift.
hey @grok, if you have Corn in a storage bin on the Farm and don’t sell futures against it, do you earn a carry on the grain?

‼️ PHP UPDATE: The Dutch parliament, the Dutch national cyber agency and Finland's central government have pulled websites offline ahead of the PHP patch.
Finland's state IT centre Valtori is shutting down public-facing central government web services. The National Land Survey of Finland is already down.
In the Netherlands, the Tweede Kamer, the NCSC and the Dutch Data Protection Authority are offline. So are tech site Tweakers and NotuBiz, which runs council information for 100+ local governments.
The University of Vienna switched off its websites, webmail and Moodle. The University of Freiburg and Finland's Haaga-Helia have taken services down too.
Fur Affinity, Pinboard, explain xkcd and every wiki on Miraheze are dark as well.
Valtori says its shutdown is a precaution, not the result of an attack or breach.
PHP was created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994, it initially stood for Personal Home Page
PHP's fix is due at 14:00 UTC today.
happy php exploit day to all those who celebrate
might see a lot of websites get destroyed starting at 9am CST
it is cool to think about where the final destination of these Soybeans will end up
China?
Italy?
Egypt?
or simply crushed into local soybean oil at the supermarket
In time these beans will get loaded up into a can or on the water on a barge and exported somewhere
