Even when the good scenario is right there and all it takes is not being shady, some still can't keep their hands out of the cookie jar. Worse than the devil: at least the devil pays up on his contracts.

Frankenstein and Dracula have a story. Zombies have a crowd. Snow zombies, Nazi zombies, same ending: surrounded and stuck. The dead horse has been kicked to the ground meat.

Tim Burton created the story and produced The Nightmare Before Christmas. He didn't direct it. Henry Selick did, and even the trivia host was caught off guard.

Back a player in the props tab. If he clears every question, you win. The more people on the same player, the less each wins. Find yourself a wild stallion.

A zombie movie asks for no brain power, just a bunch of bad actors. The zombie horse keeps getting back up, and nobody has shot it in the head yet.

Tweet of the Year Completely over 🎯 The AI slop bro's just LOVE their digital servitude A few likes, a few sheckels and they are happy. And so it is 😀
The masses will continue to learn there is no greater gatekeepers in existence right now than 3rd party platforms. Creators are captured with golden handcuffs because that's where their audience is. The audience only sees what the algorithm wants them to see. The creators are the lifeblood of 3rd party platforms that offer nothing and take everything. Don't want to lose your audience? Better keep posting non stop. It's digiral servitude to the tech giants we all claim were sick of controlling everything. You're not going to get true artistic freedom and creativity autonomy on Youtube. You're going to get mass conformity engineered by the algorithm. Free speech doesn't exist on rented land.

Yeah, but getting people to leave their familiar interface and venture onto a new destination to consume content is a different value proposition from getting people to be interested in watching a movie. I'm not saying people shouldn't do it. I'm just saying I don't think it's as easy as that.

Once again... Creator owned platforms solve this problem. Stop expecting some 3rd party distributor to release your project and take all the money it makes. You found $1.5m to make this movie, but you can't find $100k to build your own distribution platform? $500k to market it and bring people to that platform?? I truly do not understand how fools manage to raise $1.5m for an experimental production, but can't be bothered to raise a few hundred more to execute a forward thinking business model. All that, just to turn it over to the same broken system.
The interesting thing about Merry the Christmas Witch isn't just that its director made a $1.5M film he estimated would cost $80M conventionally. It's that the film is finished and still doesn't have a distributor. AI can remove an enormous financial obstacle between a filmmaker and a finished movie. But it doesn't automatically create an audience or a viable business. The bottleneck is moving from getting permission to make the film toward finding the people who want to watch it. That's a much more interesting economic shift than the headline budget comparison.

Serious creators and brands deserve their own platform. It's the only true path to creator sovereignty. Gratwick solves this problem.
Distribution is going to be one of the toughest issues for AI films
