We have secured a winning margin of votes and just got word from the Florida Department of State that there will be no recount in our race. The remaining overseas ballots that may come in will not mathematically change the outcome and will be added to the final tally.
I am honored by the faith the people of Central Florida have placed in me and will work to maintain their trust each and every day.
I am incredibly grateful to God, my beautiful wife, our family and our amazing supporters, and look forward to getting to Washington this week for orientation.

The first unofficial returns for the 2026 General Election have been posted at Floridaelectionwatch.gov.
By statute, a machine recount is ordered if the margin is ½ of 1 percent or less of total votes cast. A machine recount will be held in the following races: Congressional District 27 (Miami-Dade) and House District 33 (Brevard).
Results will not be official until the Elections Canvassing Commission certifies them on November 17, 2026.

My dear friend Susie Wiles led a brilliant 2024 campaign and served as Chief of Staff with strength, grace, and unparalleled leadership. She is a titan who has my utmost respect and gratitude.
Congratulations to Stephen Miller. He is a patriot who has been with President Trump since day one and will work tirelessly for the American people.

JUST IN: A blowout jobs report. The US economy added 165,000 jobs in October. That’s above expectations of ~65k. August and September also revised a lot higher. There was a big surge in professional and biz services hiring (+70k!), along with ongoing gains in healthcare and transportation
Unemployment rate: 4.1% (down from 4.2% in September)
Wage growth: 3.1% -->That’s below inflation for the 7th straight month, but it was stronger than expected.

Wow, a pretty damning article with diverse lines of evidence.
Most people do not realize just how easy the AP exams have gotten. They are not college level.
Why/how have they become so easy? What's going on?
This might shock you... A brutal new piece in Education Next just dropped, saying the decline in rigor of the AP in the last two decades is, in large part, because the content has been GUTTED. For example:
— AP Biology cut 40% of its material
— Required lines from the Aeneid in AP Latin halved
— Spanish Lit reading list cut from 56 works to 38
Then the questions themselves have become absurdly easier. Readability measures show English passages have fallen multiple grade levels, and some now include footnotes defining basic words...
A 2025 AP English prompt included footnote definitions for words like "optimism" and "pessimism."
At the same time, scoring was recalibrated so that more students pass: guessing penalties disappeared, rubrics grew more generous, readers were told to give students the benefit of the doubt, etc. — "no one at College Board had any incentive to maintain rigor."
College professors are now seeing students arrive with AP credit who lack basic content knowledge and writing ability. The College Board insists the exams have not become easier, but everybody familiar with them knows they've become an absolute joke.
Advanced Placement is no longer advanced. This is not college level.
It must be replaced.

SCOOP: NPR obtained Kalshi's response to the Warren/Curtis letter:
- Kalshi tagged ~200 candidates and over 14K campaign staffers "with blocks preventing trading on elections markets they are affiliated with."
-Kalshi has investigated ~60 election trades since 1/1/26. 12+ remain active probes -- of these approx. half "have been or will be referred to law enforcement."
NEW LETTER: @ewarren and @SenJohnCurtis ask @Kalshi and @Polymarket for answers on how they monitor insider trading and market manipulation on election bets ahead of the midterms:

In 2024 Florida voters sent 20 Republicans and 8 Democrats to the US House.
In April 2026, Florida enacted a revised map to unwind an unconstitutional racial gerrymander.
Last night, Florida voters likely elected 20 Republicans and 8 Democrats to the US House.
Had the old map been in effect, it would have been 18 Republicans and 10 Democrats.
Classic glass half-full or half-empty question tonight for FL Dems: Was this a good night for them?
They broke supermajorities in the Legislature; held onto redrawn seats. But narrow misses for Gov, Cabinet and many US House seats.

Florida sweeps again — congrats to the statewide ticket:
Byron Donalds, Gov
James Uthmeier, AG
Blaise Ingoglia, CFO
Wilton Simpson, Ag Comm.
The confusion here stems from the Division of Elections' website, which still lists debit and credit cards as valid IDs. dos.fl.gov/elections/for-vot…
Problem is a new law this year eliminates those as valid IDs. But, the law doesn't take effect until Jan. 1, 2027

So the former Attorney General of Florida is incorrect, and the state's website is correct.
Even more confusing, the state statutes reflect the bill signed by Gov. DeSantis in April, even though it doesn't take effect until January:

We have been in communication and coordination with SOE in the impacted counties.
In St. Lucie County, we are in constant contact with SOE Walker to ensure any issues on the ground are dealt with swiftly.
In Brevard County, SOE Bobanic and Sheriff Ivey continue to handle issues as they arise expeditiously as a result of localized flooding.
I encourage all voters in these communities to refer to their supervisor’s web pages for the most up to date information.
