I recently wasted the full 1 hour and 40ish minutes run time to watch this and I can confirm this is one of the worst movies ever made. It makes no sense at all and it drags on for way too long--clearly a novel that had come out of King's coke-fueled writing days

Just rewatched Dune and MAN, I forgot how much of a drag Chani is. Just scene after scene of pouting and scowling while Paul unites her people and heroically leads them to victory over the outworlders that have plagued them for centuries. Truly the wettest of blankets.
