Gay men have all experienced that moment when a straight man is being unusually nice and you have to remind your brain to behave.
Some gay men are trying to build the kind of love they rarely got to see growing up. We deserve patience with that learning process, but we also owe each other the work of learning how to love well.

To every gay man, you are enough. Beautiful, smart, talented. Don't let anyone dim your shine. ✨
Bottoms deserve compensation for the amount of emotional intelligence, advance planning and logistical coordination that goes into some of these supposedly spontaneous encounters. 😭

I’m a final year Mass Communication student at the University of Lagos, currently balancing my last year of school with my internship. To give the internship my full attention, I made the difficult decision to step away from my job, which meant giving up my only source of income.
One thing about gay men: we need to normalise admitting that somebody can be extremely attractive and still not qualify for access to our lives. Beauty is not a character reference. 😭
Some tops want a bottom who is feminine enough to admire, masculine enough to impress , independent enough to manage everything and submissive enough never to question anything.

Some of the most important gay milestones aren’t coming out, getting a boyfriend or having your first sexual experience. Sometimes it’s the first time you stop treating your own happiness as something you have to justify.
Some tops have the confidence of a billionaire, the communication skills of a missing person and the emotional availability of a bank that has temporarily suspended withdrawals.

If superpowers were real, telekinesis would be the WORST possible power for me to have. Because the second someone gets on my nerves, they’re flying straight into a wall. I simply cannot be trusted with that kind of power. 😭 #AHS13

THE DUKE IS BACK IN BUSINESS. And this time, the world of THE GENTLEMEN is getting even bigger.
Netflix has officially confirmed that Season 3 is now in production, with Theo James returning to the criminal underworld of high society as a new ensemble of familiar faces joins the fray.
Among the latest additions are THE LORD OF THE RINGS alumni Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom, alongside Robert Carlyle, Dexter Fletcher, Bruna Marquezine, Ed Speleers, Saffron Burrows, and Bugzy Malone.
And the next chapter is expanding beyond British borders, with production set to take place across the UK and Morocco, promising a new international backdrop for the show’s signature blend of aristocratic excess, ruthless ambition, dark comedy, and underworld intrigue.
With this much talent joining the ensemble, the stakes could be higher than ever.
So, what exactly is Guy Ritchie cooking up for Season 3? Who’s about to enter Eddie Horniman’s orbit, and what new trouble awaits the Duke?
Theories, gentlemen. Let’s hear them.

Watching Tyler Perry’s FINDING JOY on Amazon Prime Video, and I have a theory: Tyler Perry didn’t write this one to put us through emotional warfare for once. 😂
No struggle love. No convoluted plot held together by a series of increasingly ridiculous misunderstandings. No Black woman being punished by the narrative, saddled with everybody else’s burdens, or expected to sacrifice herself at the altar of love.
Just a rom-com with a sensible narrative progression, a heroine who gets to experience joy, and a love story that doesn’t require her to suffer for it.
It’s giving Black Hallmark rom-com, and I mean that as the highest compliment.
I’m thoroughly enjoying this! More of this, please, Mr. Tyler Perry. Let Black women fall in love, be cherished, have their happy endings, and experience a little romantic escapism without having to survive an entire season of emotional devastation first.
MORE OF THIS, SIR. WE’RE BEGGING.

I've now seen both episodes of Yaga twice. Crave has officially reeled me in with yet another binge-worthy series. This one is a stunner. I'm scrutinizing every frame and every minor detail, because I know nothing in this series is incidental; it all pays off down the line. Now, on to the podcast!
