We were out in Detroit yesterday with our friends from @detroitzoo, @bankofamerica and @eddiebauer to plant 60+ street trees for #TreeEquity near Kemeny Park with @GreeningDetroit

Earlier this month along with @DTE_Energy, @CityofDetroit, @DETFutureCity & @GreeningDetroit, we launched the Detroit Tree Equity Partnership to plant more than 75K trees, employ over 300 residents in tree care jobs and invest $30m in Detroit neighborhoods youtu.be/1CdNBEetf5M
The Greening of Detroit is proud to be a recipient of the GM Climate Equity Fund! This support will go directly to our Detroit Conservation Corps program which educates, trains and provides hands on experience to Detroiters in the green jobs sector! Thanks @GM!
