This footage is from the very beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. Look at that little Ukrainian boy, walking towards the border in tears, surrounded by families fleeing a Russian invasion. Now consider the extraordinary moral bankruptcy of Trump, Rubio, Hegseth and Musk, whose message to Ukraine increasingly amounts to: “Fuck Ukraine. Russia gets our sympathy.” Meanwhile, Steve Witkoff apparently sees Putin as some sort of humanitarian. Quite remarkable. Most people can distinguish a humanitarian from a man whose army bombs hospitals and forces children to flee their homes. Apparently, this requires a level of intellectual sophistication beyond certain members of the American establishment. It hardly takes a magnificent imagination to work out which side these gentlemen might have found more accommodating in 1939. “Never again” was supposed to mean something. It wasn’t a decorative slogan to be dusted off once a year while making excuses for the next dictator. And to those who admire Russia as some glorious defender of Western civilisation, perhaps try learning something about the country. Russia has millions of Muslim citizens. It is hardly the anti-Muslim paradise some of its Western admirers imagine. Nor does Putin’s dictatorship represent the democratic freedoms they claim to cherish. But then, understanding history, geography or basic human decency does rather spoil the pleasure of having absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. That little boy understood who the aggressor was. Remarkable how many supposedly powerful adults still struggle with it.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 10,348 times..... Yesterday's reversal of his promise to allow Ukraine to build Patriot defense systems followed a call with the leader of the Russian war criminal regime. The reversal should provoke us to remember three things: 1. Conservatives and Republicans have conceded a benchmark of American liberty by reinforcing the idea that one man - the president - can start wars, tariff nations, suspend treaties, etc. - by fiat - notwithstanding the unconstitutionality of such actions. 2. Putin - not Laura Loomer, Melania, Congress - has ultimate sway with the American president on Ukraine. 3. On even the most basic issue of protecting women and children from being murdered in their sleep by giving Ukraine defensive weapons, the Administration remains on the wrong side.

Yes, I’m Ukrainian🇺🇦 Yes, I speak russian fluently. No, that does not make me russian. Yes, I’m from Donbas. No, we were never waiting for “liberation” Yes, I love Ukraine. No, that does not make me a Nazi. Yes, I smile. That does not mean I hurt less. And yes - I lost people because of this war. Some forever. That pain never leaves💔

Climate change is coming for us all, this week it reached the heart of Scotland's capital. A wildfire broke out in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, as strong winds and tinder-dry vegetation helped the flames spread. This is not the Amazon. This is not Australia. This is Scotland. No time to wait. #ActOnClimate 📹 Richard Goldie #climate #energy

BREAKING: Leaked Andrew Tate texts are looking VERY bad for the Trump admin… Texts from Andrew Tate reveal that a Trump admin official directly intervened on the Tate brothers behalf in early 2025 to stall the sex trafficking investigation. “I had word from The Trump admin that theyre on top of things,” wrote Andrew Tate via text. Tate’s former lawyer, Paul Ingrassia, is now a Trump admin official, and is the one who requested the Tate brothers devices be returned to them. You may remember Paul Ingrassia from his leaked texts last year in which he said he “has a Nazi streak” and uses old slurs.
JD Vance still follows the Tate brothers on Twitter. Barron is friends him them. All of this happened after Andrew admitted to being a pimp on camera. This is the Republican Party now. I’m a young dude who loves America, and hates seeing it hijacked by these hateful , abusive, degenerates.

The russian hypocrisy is breathtaking. Wildberries CEO Tatyana Kim calls Ukraine's strike on Wildberries "an act of international terrorism." Meanwhile, since the start of its full-scale invasion, russia has attacked or damaged more than 400 Nova Poshta facilities — Ukraine's largest postal and logistics network. That's just one Ukrainian delivery company. Dozens of Nova Poshta employees have been killed or injured in russian strikes while simply doing their jobs. For years, russia has deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure. The last people on Earth who get to lecture anyone about terrorism are russians.

Applebaum: Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner negotiated with Russia over Ukraine while discussing mineral, oil and gas deals for connected US companies. They were not bargaining for Ukrainian security or America's European allies. That is a profound abuse of American power. 1/

"It's not just a security issue - it's also a moral issue. While Ukrainians are dying, Russians are spending their holidays in Europe. " - Estonian Interior Minister Igor Taro called on EU countries to tighten their visa policy toward Russian citizens. "A very troubling sign is that the number of visas issued to Russians in Europe is growing, which is ridiculous. Because it's not just a security issue - it's also a moral issue. While Ukrainians are dying, Russians are spending their holidays in Europe. It's just not logical at all. The non-binding measures have produced non-binding results, and it just can't continue like this. I think there should be a ban on tourist visas for Russians, at least for as long as this war continues, because Russians are traveling as if nothing has happened. And that's exactly what the Kremlin wants Russians to believe: 'It's okay, it's just a small special operation, it's not a big deal, and we can carry on with business as usual.' So we have to squeeze Russia really hard."

Today, the Russians once again "vanquished" purely civilian sites – ordinary passenger buses in Odesa, ordinary apartment buildings in Zaporizhzhia, and an ordinary hospital in the Kharkiv region. Every single day of this war that Russia is waging against life only proves that supporting Ukraine is the right thing to do from every perspective – defense, political, and simply human. And everyone around the world sees it. They see that Ukraine needs more air defense, more protection for people's lives, and that the Russian authorities have gone insane over this war and are completely irrational in refusing to end it. But pressure on Russia must work. New sanctions against the aggressor, new support packages for Ukraine, new projects – like our European anti-ballistic initiative, FREYJA – all of this must work. Thank you to everyone who is helping. In the near future, there will be meetings and negotiations that must strengthen our defenses.

Russia killed Ukrainian volunteer Olha Kuzmenko, along with the animals Olha was caring for. Olha chose to stay in the frontline town of Druzhkivka, Donetsk region. She refused to leave because of the animals - Olha spent her days feeding them and helping with their evacuation to safer areas. Yesterday, while Olha was feeding the animals, a Russian guided aerial bomb hit the area and killed Olha along with them. RIP, Olha. We are losing our best people.

- Bridget Brink Former US Ambassador to Ukraine " I think, horrifyingly, that Vladimir Putin wants to wipe Ukraine off the map as a country, as a people, as a culture. And, to me, this really hearkens back to some of the darkest periods of Europe. I think the stakes are so high, not just for Ukraine, not just for Europe, but for the United States. And we must be on the right side of history." Awesome woman 😉
