This aerial view of Tony Gwynn letting an outside pitch travel before driving it the other way is beautiful

I can't recall a more universally liked rookie than Payton Tolle.
The kid has been through a lot, yet his good values, great attitude, and fun approach keep shining through at every opportunity.
He is such an easy guy to root for and it's been great to see him do well.

π¨HE RAN TWO MILES THROUGH A TUNNEL WITH 60 POUNDS ON HIS BACK ποΈ
Firefighter Stephen Siller had just finished his overnight shift and was heading to play golf with his brothers when he heard the first plane hit the World Trade Center.
He raced back toward Manhattan, but found the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel closed to traffic. Instead of turning back, he abandoned his car, strapped on his 60 pounds of gear, and ran nearly two miles straight through the tunnel on foot to reach the towers.
He never made it home. He was 34, leaving behind his wife and five children.
His run became the inspiration for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which has since raised hundreds of millions to support veterans, first responders, and Gold Star families. π
25 years later. His run still inspires thousands every single year. Never forget. πΊπΈπ
