Its kind of funny to me how men all want to be the prize now. Women used to be pursued, now men want to be the ones pursued. They want to be chased. They want the girls they find beautiful to think he’s out of their league. The old man trope of “I’m lucky she puts up with me” and he had to fight for his life to win her over just isnt worth the effort to these guys. You can blame their opinion that they think women arent worth it but it seems more like learned helplessness. Men were dying in war while getting Dear John letters. It cant possibly be worse now. I think its some hormone issue. Theyre literally willing to just roll over and die than put any effort in.
Im trying to picture it.. the loser in a village of 5 women his generation who are all spoken for already. He has no prospects. No phone to harass women on twitter, no girls to groom on discord. Its bleak. Your village has a few other single guys and they’re going to pillage another village. You go fight with your tribe but you wont take home a war bride. The one you could get was already a mother. “Gross. Sloppy seconds and who knows what else? Id rather die alone.”
Now you dont even have to risk dying to abduct women from somewhere else. You have millions of them on your phone. You just have to figure out the right string of words to get them out. “No” he says.. “they should be begging me for a chance. I refuse”

I think this is the primary reason. Dating apps have nuked the expectations of the average woman with the illusion of endless choices and men bringing too little. In the eyes of the average woman, the average man doesn’t bring much to the table. Women say that on here regularly.

Even worse. There's no normal method that reliably works anymore to go from being single to forming a relationship or a family. A lot of people have checked out. A lot of people who haven't are in dysfunctional on again off again "situationships".
The incel worldview is overall very good at explaining reality, but one thing I think it does wrong is lump all non involuntarily celibate people into a kind of "healthy sex life normie" category they don't really all belong in
Let's say a young guy had a handful of casual sex experience in college that were random drunken hookups with women, and then he graduates from college and those stop. Now he's older and he realizes that he's never had a girlfriend and can't get any women to go out with him
Once, my dad told me about how in his Middle/High School pretty much everybody dated at some point
I compared this against my school experiences where if you had a friend group of like 7-10 ish people, maybe one of those people would have gone on a few dates or had a girlfriend
I was recently talking to a friend I went to High School with and we broke down the people we both knew. He thought I was being way too generous with my "one person per friend group" average and pointed out that in a lot of groups of people we knew, literally nobody ever dated

All of the tracks are fucked, but there’s plenty of frontier. Become a travel blogger in Europe, it’s cheap. Go to Thailand and learn kickboxing and fuck prostitutes. Do a startup. Carry a briefcase for corrupt Chinese businessmen. Raise money for a small hedge fund. Get into rental properties.

@nthturning what I mean is some random chud who makes a travel blog and tries to earn a living off it will probably end up getting get like 50 views and $0 in ad revenue. Making a living through starting a travel blog is like moving to Hollywood and trying to become an actor IMO
