🗣️ "Penn State got back on the horse after four straight losses by beating Purdue 31-17. Quarterback Rocco Becht went back to keeping things simple, which the Nittany Lions desperately needed.
Prior to the Purdue game, Becht had thrown four interceptions in three games, two of those led to touchdowns, and the other two left the opposing team in scoring position. Penn State doesn't need to reinvent the wheel here. It's still a rebuilding program, which is why keeping it simple is paramount.
The offensive line has done a solid job at protecting Becht, ranking 47th in Havoc allowed, but the execution hasn't been there.
For one reason, it's because the weapons in the receiver room are nothing to write home about. Leading receiver Chase Sowell is solid, but beyond him, the receiver who's second in receiving yards is Koby Howard. And Howard only has 12 receptions, compared to tight end Andrew Rappleyea, who has 28 but 119 fewer receiving yards.
The run game is also largely unspectacular, with Carson Hansen being the bellcow, but it seems that the Lions are getting more bang for their buck when Cam Wallace gets handed the rock. Wallace is actually third on the team in carries, but he is averaging six yards per carry with three touchdowns.
PSU's defense has been strong against the pass, only allowing 141.7 yards per game. These are two middle-of-the-road programs that can run hot and cold at any given time.
I'm leaning toward Penn State, though, because of Washington's uncertainties. The Huskies were handed a win in Lincoln, and while I don't think Penn State is a perfect program, it is better than what Washington is now.
We have Penn State to win by 6.4 points, and with this spread being at 2.5 points, I'm happily taking those points." @Gregasus14

You have got to be kidding me bro
#Seahawks G Quenton Nelson will have surgery to clean out some cartilage in his knee, sources say, as fragments had been causing an issue recently.
The plan is for Nelson to avoid Injured Reserve, and his timeline is a few weeks. Seattle has two games, then a Week 11 bye.

Winnipeg Jets pull off the LATEST four goal comeback win in NHL history ‼️
They trailed this game 4-0 with 3 minutes left in regulation and now won it in overtime through Dylan Samberg and snap a 9 game winless streak. Incredible. #GoJetsGo
