If the right do take it again, ACT & NZF are going to get an even more disproportionate share of the say than they did this time. You thought Luxon was weak in the negotiations the first time around? Now make him do it again without the majority of his senior MP's around him.
If you can get within 5-10% of eligible voters choosing to not vote, it starts to resemble the rates for spoiled ballots/"informal votes" seen in places like Australia with compulsory voting. This means that around 5-10% of people aren't going to choose even if they are there.

Why did Labour stand candidate in this electorate?
Why didn't they work with Greens & negotiate with them to not put forward candidate or advise well in advance how they wanted people to vote in other electorates
Is devious but may be the only way we get Left bloc back in power
While our system is a hell of a lot more robust than what it used to be, insofar as we will never have a result like the UK got in 2024 where 33.7% voted for Labour and they got 63.2% of the seats, it is still frustrating that there are easy obvious improvements we haven't done.

I am hearing that on his deathbed Chris Bishop received the light of Islam and unhesitatingly recited the Shahada. Even now he looks down on the Ummah from the gardens of Jannah. Truly there is no god but Allah, and Mohammad is his prophet!
