‘रामायण’ देख कर आया। जिस VFX की बड़ाई हो रही है, वह भी कोई आउट ऑफ द वर्ल्ड या नई कल्पनाशीलता वाला नहीं है। एक्शन सीक्वेंस भी औसत है, साउथ के कई फिल्मों की कॉपी ही है।
भगवान राम ‘रणधीरता’ नहीं दिखाते, वह भाग-छुप कर युद्ध कर रहे हैं। रावण का पौरुष विस्तार से दिखाया गया है। अनावश्यक विद्युत-रावण प्रकरण खींच कर, परशुराम-लक्ष्मण संवाद को अतिलघु कर दिया है।
संगीत औसत से भी घटिया, बैकग्राउंड स्कोर एक-दो बार अच्छे लगे हैं, पर वह भी आश्यर्चचकित कर सकें, ऐसा भी नहीं है। रणवीर का चेहरा अधिकांशतः फ्लैट है, पर कुछ दृश्यों में प्रभावित करता है। साई पल्लवी में सीता का विशेष भाव नहीं दिखता, पर यह भी नहीं कहूँगा कि बर्बाद कर दिया है। शूर्पणखा में अधिक शेड्स हैं।
मूलतः, असुरों द्वारा प्रस्तावित साम्यवाद के लिए युद्ध लड़ कर रावण, सर्वहारा को ‘राजा-प्रजा एक समान रहेंगे’ का भाव देता दिखता है। भगवान राम सबसे बड़े फेमिनिस्ट हैं, क्योंकि बड़ी बिंदी नारीवादी सीता ने लक्ष्मण को ही डाँट दिया है कि नाक क्यों काट दी, इतनी छोटी बात के लिए। राम ने असुरों से लक्ष्मण द्वारा अनुचित करने पर क्षमा भी माँग ली है ताकि युद्ध टाला जा सके।
यदि इसके बाद भी किसी को यह रामायण देखने योग्य लग रही है तो आप रामायण नहीं देख रहे, आपको मारवल की प्लाज्मा थ्रो वाली फील चाहिए कि भारत में भी कोई नीली-पीली प्लाज्मा से हवा में कुछ बना सकता है। या फिर आप उस समूह के हैं जो कहता है कि ‘यार कोई बना रहा है तो थोड़ा आँख मूँद लो।’

#Ramayana - 1st 30 mins make me feel like Raavan nd asurs are innocent victims of Bengal famine and Devs are Winston Churchills. It's portrayed as Bourgeois vs Proletariat. Ravan was saviour of the sarvharas,asurs are Soshit,Sanchita, pot belly Kuber was as Lala of 90s movies.
This is exactly what happened when all those Karna kanging films originally hit the streets. Now people genuinely think that Karna (and by extension Duryodhan and the rest of the Kauravas) fought for equality and were immensely valorous whilst the Pandavas won through chance and crook when that is NOT the case. Hindus spend years, literal years, undoing the damage these movies do, and then these filmmaker’s with their never ending budgets and massive platforms make another movie even worse messaging.
And if you have an issue with this, you are not the right kind of Hindu or you’re not Hindu enough to deserve to see your stories on the big screen. We should just shut up and accept whatever bs these filmmaker’s choose to feed us at any point.
Today, it’s tyrannical Devas who have enslaved the Rakshasas and a Ravan in the form of a slave liberator. Tomorrow, the Rakshasa is Maha Vishnu himself.

Namit Malhotra's Ramayana looks great, its meticulous and that's why its sinister, its extremely dangerous because it has an agenda. It has the subtle messaging thats used to manipulate masses.
They’re really trying to equate industry propped poorly researched Ramayan with 4K crore budget helmed by ultimate #1 nepo baby as equal to the movie made in a few hundred crores for which the lead actor faced a boycott ban from his entire industry, like - be serious. It’s ideal that no one supports or watches this embarrassment but I know they will. And we’ll have to spend the next 30 years convincing children that Ravan wasn’t a messiah who fought for slave liberation

This is for people who are crying over Ravana Glorification, One head of Ramayana is clearly depicting the Lust with all kind of Expressions.
The Other one is clearly saying “Ek aur Stree aur Kitne Shrap lega” We Indians already know the story of Rambha and Ravana, and they are teasing that part only.
If you want an ‘U’ rated movie to clearly depicts the LUST angle which will be watched by Kids so I’m so sorry, it is not possible.
After witnessing the revelation that is Ranbir Kapoor’s performance as Ram in Ramayan, I can confidently say that Ranveer Singh will continue to rule the industry for the next 20 years

They don’t even attempt to show how horrific what Ravan did to Sita is. Getting kidnapped for Sai’s Sita mildly inconvenient afternoon. She doesn’t scream. She doesn’t cry. She doesn’t react in anyway beyond having a slightly confused look on her face like she’s like too dumb to understand the concept of sexual assault
