Humanitarian aid and responders are under attack.
This year, 281 humanitarian staff and volunteers have been killed globally - 96 per cent were local or national staff.
In 2025, world leaders must do more to prevent and end conflicts, and ensure civilians and humanitarian workers are protected.

The Global Humanitarian Overview (GHO) has declared that Sudan now has 30 million people in need of humanitarian aid.
This makes it both the world’s biggest humanitarian crisis ever recorded, as well as the unfortunate record of the largest number of people displaced. [1/2]
