Morning two with my nephew hunting the timber. Had one near but couldn’t get a shot. After shaking for ten minutes he said good thing deer fever isn’t contagious!! Fun moments.
Great morning with my nephew on his first youth deer hunt. It’s a great thing seeing him learn about nature and get excited. I was fortunate to have family teach me. Love the time we get passing it all forward. Makes the 3 hrs sleep after last nights game worth it!

The best coaches don’t treat every mistake the same.
Cooper Kupp makes a mistake. Sean McVay doesn’t immediately criticize him.
He tells him:
"Give yourself some grace."
"Love you."
"Sometimes it happens."
That’s coaching.
Not every mistake needs a speech. Not every mistake needs more criticism. Sometimes the player already knows.
The best coaches know their players well enough to understand what they need in that moment.
Sometimes it’s correction.
Sometimes it’s accountability.
And sometimes it’s simply reminding them:
I still believe in you.
