Lou's family created this page for those who knew or believed in her, to donate to Dogs Trust or Badger Trust. It's hard to accept she's gone, but many animals live on because of her.

What are badgers doing in September?
As autumn arrives, badgers prepare for colder months by gathering bedding materials like grass, leaves, and moss to warm their setts.

Advice from Badger Trust. In dry weather, badgers struggle to find earthworms but adapt by seeking wasp larvae and insects. Help them by providing fresh water and small amounts of natural foods like fruit or unsalted nuts, keeping feeding minimal to avoid dependence.
A badger who found itself in difficulty between houses in Dawlish earlier this month has now been successfully returned to the wild, following nine days of treatment and care at SWWR.

A young badger trapped in a walled garden was safely rescued by our team, treated for dehydration, rehabilitated, and released back home in Lyme Regis. A brilliant outcome for this youngster! 💚
Summer sun is great for us but tough on wildlife. Badgers are arriving dehydrated as baked ground blocks food and water. Put out bird safe peanuts for badgers, dog food for foxes and wet food or small cat kibble for hedgehogs. Fresh water in shallow dishes is vital.
These two badgers are enjoying a massive peanut feast laid out by a kind homeowner! Wonderful to see local residents looking out for our nocturnal neighbours. Huge thanks to our supporter for sharing! Got your own wildlife videos? Send them our way! youtu.be/5GOGcHuNECc
