If you pull me over you gonna find an armory.
The Southlake Police Department has given me the following statement regarding the incident involving Dez Bryant:
"On Sunday, October 25, at approximately 12:59 p.m., Southlake officers responded to a reported fight in progress in a retail parking lot in the 2200 block of FM 1709. Several callers reported that multiple individuals were involved in the altercation as well as a possible weapon. Based on that information, officers drew their firearms upon arrival as a precaution to address any potential threats and ensure the safety of everyone at the scene. Several individuals were temporarily detained as part of the investigation. No firearms were recovered at the scene.
"The altercation reportedly began as a traffic incident near Kimball Avenue, where one of the involved individuals, identified as 37-year-old Desmond Bryant, reported he was cut off by another motorist. Both parties subsequently entered the parking lot, where an argument ensued and the alleged assault occurred.
Following the investigation, Bryant, was issued a citation for Assault by Contact, a Class C misdemeanor, and was released at the scene."

Data Center? You should date a point guard instead. They tend to have excellent court vision and leadership abilities

Read this.
A good use of 3 minutes on a Sunday.
Hold on to your humanity.
Even if - especially if - the world seems to have forgotten we all come from one Creator.
And everyone is someone’s son or daughter.
My deepest sympathy goes out to this young Dallas, man, his family, and everyone who loved him. After hours on the interstate and exhausting efforts by law enforcement to talk him down, he made the ultimate decision, jumped from the bridge, and tragically lost his life today.
A lot can be said about the state of our humanity by observing how people react during a tragedy. Watching the live stream was utterly heartbreaking. People were encouraging him to jump, placing bets, complaining that their lunch hour was almost over, and making cruel jokes.
It seems many have forgotten that this was someone’s son, brother, best friend, neighbor, and coworker. Where are we as human beings, as citizens, as souls? Where has our conscience gone? Where is the sympathy, the empathy, and the kindness for a person in their darkest hour? Has it really come to this?
It is a profound struggle to see the good around us when the true colors of so many surface in moments like these.
If you are ever feeling this way, please reach out to me. I will be there. I will remind you of all the good still left in your life, that painful moments do pass, and that every small step forward is worth celebrating. I will remind you that tomorrow will not be like today, and that there are people who would never truly recover from losing you.
To that young man: I am so deeply sorry you felt this was your only option. I am so sorry that others made a joke of your pain and forgot that you were a human being with inherent value.
🙏Prayers for you and your loved ones. May you finally find the peace you could not find on earth.🕊

I asked Ross Perot Jr. if Texas is the best place right now to build data centers.
"It is the best spot in the world to build data centers 'cause we have 150 years of natural gas. You can go to the Permian, put up a gigawatt, have your own power."
In this clip, Ross explains why data centers, chip factories and defense tech are all landing in Texas.
Today I sit down with Ross Perot Jr., Chairman of Hillwood and The Perot Group. Ross founded Hillwood in 1988 and built Alliance Texas, his masterpiece, a 1 of 1 27,000-acre development.
We discuss:
• Why Trammell Crow told him to just build warehouses
• How Hillwood developed Alliance Texas
• How a rare earth company got its air permit in three weeks
• How President Bush helped close Scotiabank's move to Texas
• What the 1992 campaign looked like from inside the family
• The Iran War and why cheap oil prices are on the way
• Why every community should want a data center
• How to keep China from taking Taiwan
• Why he expects markets to boom after the midterms

I tried to warn yall about the powerful Latino vote that helped secure SD9 in January for @TaylorRehmetTX. D had not won this district since the 1980s. The R candidate Trump endorsed and district went +17 for Trump in 2024. They weren’t happy then. And they really ain’t happy now
AMEN!
Let Renda roll- this shit is embarrassing @CoachDuzzPittFB
Replying to @kslater18 @neverlosebets
Once #6 went down season was over, & Duzz gets the pass from me but I will say Duzz should give Angelo Renda the nod next week at QB, I’ve seen enough of Geriner & Dailey, not saying Renda will be savior but he can move, gives me Pickett vibes.
