It's really sad. France has everything: best weather, beautiful landscapes, culture and history, agriculture and food, ...
And gave out too many free-bies, some people became entitled and lazy, the working class carries more and more of the lazy ones, and it will end up collapsing. But they will not go down without a fight.
Add the furious ultra-left, who has no respect for traditions, State, ownership, work. And can easily enflame a dumb youth who has learned nothing in school. Is afraid of the future. And just wants to have the latest i-phone.
We left. In 2014 we made the decision "family first". Started over at 48 and 68 years old. Little money.
Forever grateful that the United States wanted us. We did it all on our merits. Now our children have a future.
Here is a toast to all hard working immigrants who left countries where Socialism ruined everything.

I had some friends in the car with me. Even though they had ridden with me and seen FSD before, I still got asked all sorts of questions:
-What happens if emergency vehicles are around needing to get by? It pulls over.
-Have you seen the videos where it reacts to people running the red lights in front of it? I have lived it.
-How long can you look at your phone? Well, let's test it.
-What happens if you fall asleep? It is supposed to pull over after some tries to get my attention.
-How much do you trust it? More than I trust myself. (that one made the whole car silent)

Day 2 of @TheMarsSociety 29th Annual conference finished up yesterday along with a major @NASAArtemis update & a @SpaceX Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg.
I discuss all three of these events in this video, including a discussion with @astro_g_dogg (Garrett Reisman), former @NASA Astronaut & @SpaceX employee & @thetimellis from @relativityspace , the Artemis acceleration program and the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah.
I also provide some of my own observations and thoughts about the current developments and time period of space exploration & give some of my own opinions about how we got to where we are and the bright future ahead … if we all realize the remarkable point in time we are in.
